BIC Yakka Kayak. The first semi-rigid kayak.

The Folding Yakka was designed for those with limited storage space for their kayak. On the water, the Yakka is a high performance kayak that glides along on its rigid hull and provides a paddling experience equal to that of standard rigid-form kayaks. Standard features include, integrated footrests, seat EVA foam cushioning, front EVA foam cushioning, stern protector and wheel, inserts for backrests, bow protector, rubber carry handles, mooring straps and accessory stowing mesh.

The Yakka is high performance: The rigid hull is derived from the BIC Sport kayak tri-maran (THD) design assuring excellent glide and stability.

The Yakka is easy to store: Folded, the Yakka is only 1.50m x 76cm and fits into the car as easily as it fits into the garage, loft or cupboard.

The Yakka is practical to use: Set up and pack down of the Yakka are very simple and can be done in a few minutes. Pump included.

The Yakka is safe: Buoyancy and stability are already provided by the rigid hull and are completed by the inflatable section above it.

The Yakka is tough: The inflatable bladder is protected by a hard wearing PVC cover with a high quality finish. The two rigid parts are made from thermoformed polyethylene, like our other BIC Sport Kayaks.
